Tank trucks and rail tank cars at a crude truck-to-rail terminal
Terminal builder · operator · optimizer

Build it. Operate it. Optimize it.

Timiron LLC designs, runs and sharpens bulk liquid terminals. Our crude and condensate truck-to-rail terminal in Cadiz, Ohio runs on the same playbook we bring to yours.

Cadiz, Ohio. Crude and condensate, truck to rail.

Our own terminal in the Utica shale. Trucks unload at three metered loading positions into rail tank cars on our spur, with the paperwork, inspections and crew coverage run on the tools we offer to other terminals.

The tools behind the shift

Four field-built tools that run every shift at Cadiz. We bring them to existing terminals as part of an Optimize engagement.

Crew board on a week view: shifts by person, one call-off, and a night coverage gap flagged before the shift

Crew & coverage

Crew board

Coverage gaps and call-offs are visible before they hurt the shift, not after.

Two phone screens: a railcar arrival checklist with pass/fail items and photos, and the week's signed records with open findings

Field inspections

Every railcar and skid walk is done on a phone, with photos, and signed.

Truck flow board: trucks on site, waits and turn times, a per-truck list and arrivals by hour

Waits & turn times

Truck flow

Truck waits, turn times and how many trucks are on site are measured, not guessed.

Control-room wall display: three loading positions with fill status, crew on shift and the car order on the spur

Before Timiron

Two decades of terminal work

Our leadership team has built and set up several multi-commodity terminals across the country: crude, condensate, frac sand, ethanol and industrial chemicals, moved by truck, rail and barge. Those facilities belonged to other companies, and Timiron LLC did not own or operate them. The lessons came with us. We have worked with every Class I railroad in North America - BNSF, Union Pacific, CSX, Norfolk Southern, CN and CPKC - and with short lines including the Wheeling & Lake Erie, R.J. Corman and Ohio Central.

Our background
How we engage

Three steps to a proposal

  1. 01

    Discovery call

What you move, where it comes from, where it goes, and how it flows today.

  2. 02

    Site walk

We walk the terminal or the site with you and map the need to Build, Operate or Optimize.

  3. 03

    Proposal

A specific scope and plan. No pitch deck, no inflated extras.

Have product to move, or a terminal that needs fixing?

Tell us the location, the commodity and the timing. A rough idea is fine.
